Have you ever thought about what happens when you die, what’s left behind and how it can impact the future. I’ve just started watching TED talks and this one stood out.
It refers to our digital footprints and also how technology is advancing to allow for a virtual you to be present even after your death. How you might say can this happen.
Picture this all the tweets, blog posts and Facebook posts can be read, catalogued providing a view of your personality and thoughts, which with time will be used to generate posts as if you were still around. 3D projections of your physical image with this additional auto generated content will allow your closest to hold a conversation as if you were still there.
It looks like you and it thinks like you…. Scary and should we be moving that way. technology will defiantly go there but what is the longer term issues with this. Is it technology gone to far?
