It seems that every social media network is slowly being taken over by Company Profiles. Google+ has been removing companies awaiting the launch of more focused tools enabling each one of us to engage better with potential and current clients. LinkedIn has for a while enabled us all to both promote ourselves and recently also promote our company services and products.
Here’s a couple of tips to ensure your getting the best from your LinkedIn Company page:
- Ensure all your staff have good quality profiles – see our previous article regards this matter. Take a look and review your companies page and see how each of your staff present themselves to potential clients. How do they type the Company Name? What job titles are they using? Get a level of consistency to the information and ensure all staff have relevant and suitable photographs in place.
- Upload specific images to reflect the relevant services you provide. Try and tie them into the imagery your using on your website.
- Seek recommendations for specific services from clients
- Expand the description for the services page for the company
- Select three core services and include as a rotating banner with a track able click through to the relevant page on your website
- Look at create focused company pages dependant on targeted end user – LinkedIn now allows for targeted services pages dependent on a number of defining factors such as; Company size, A persons job role, Industry area, Seniority and Geographic Location
