Ran a workshop today for the e-business club based at Coventry Chamber of Commerce. General thoughts for the day was that there’s a lot to do in order to get a website live.
Interestingly everyone could see the benefit of planning the structure and content was extremely important.
Second thoughts would be that a large number of SMEs actually still want someone to build the website for them, that includes adding the text. It means they use a professional who should help generate business if they understand the business benefits and how technology can handle improve it. That’s the defining factor, a developer that actually understands. That would be good I hear you say, well they are out there.
